We arrived in Zurich with our trendy new rucksacks on wheels - we were packed and ready to travel!! Our plan was to spend two nights in Zurich and travel to Bern for one day for some sight seeing. Our long awaited trip had started.....

There are four different species of the camel family in South America - the Llama, Vicunya, Guanaco and Alapaca. The fibres of the vicunya coat are almost as fine as silk and highly prized for making very expensive garments.

Reindeer, Kirkeness

The reindeer survive the Arctic winter by eating moss as all the grass is covered by snow and ice. The stags drop their horns at the beginning of winter but the females keep theirs so that they can defend their eating space while they are pregnant through the winter months.
